The nature reserve Haidknückel with a size of 5.2 hectares is located north of Gudenhagen in the urban area of Brilon . The area was designated as a nature reserve (NSG) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2001 with the Hoppecketal landscape plan .

Area description

The NSG is a grassland stream valley. The stream is passed with alder . A smaller deciduous forest is located in the NSG.

Protection purpose

The Bachtal should protect in the NSG. As with all nature reserves in Germany, the protection designation pointed out that the area became a nature reserve “because of the rarity, special character and beauty of the area”.
