Since the concept of the PDC Home Tour has worked out, the PDC decided on August 28, 2020 to hold a second event under the name PDC Home Tour II with a slightly modified concept.
The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the suspension of game operations in the PDC from March 15, 2020, on which the Players Championship 8 took place. In addition to the Premier League Darts, this also applies to the Players Championships and the European Tour . As a result, more and more online darts were played, such as the Premier Inn League between the two commentators Dan Dawson and Chris Murphy or the Elmar Paulke's Lonely Darts Club Show launched by the German darts commentator Elmar Paulke .
Darts at Home 1
On April 1st, 2020 the first online darts tournament held by the PDC took place. Under the name PDC Darts At Home, 5 tour card holders residing in England took part in the tournament. The tournament was moderated by Dan Dawson. The players were connected from home via webcam and were able to compete against each other on their own dartboard. The tournament was broadcast on both Facebook and YouTube on the PDC channels. Was played Round Robin over a distance of best of 7 legs .
The second edition of Darts at Home took place on April 8, 2020. In contrast to the first edition, only four players took part this time. For this, the distance was increased to best of 9 legs .
The PDC Home Tour started on April 17th, 2020. On each of the evenings four different players competed each against each other . There were two points for every win. In the event of a tie, the leg difference, the number of legs won and the averages of the evening decided first.
All 128 Tour Card holders were eligible to play in the first round. Since all interested Tour Card holders had already taken part by May 11th, the remaining 7 game days were mainly occupied by the runners-up from the groups already played. The 32 winners of the first round moved into the second round, in which they were again divided into eight groups of four, which were carried out according to the same principle. The third round finally consisted of 2 groups of four, in which the two best players moved into the last final group, the so-called Championship Group, and there played out the winner of the PDC Home Tour. Players who can no longer compete in the higher rounds would have been disqualified.

1Keegan Brown had to cancel the game day early due to internet problems. His 5-3 defeat to Conan Whitehead was canceled and instead played a group of three with a round trip.
The Darts at Home: Footballers Special took place on May 10, 2020. Four football players from the two highest English leagues took part in the charity event. Donations were made to the National Health Service during the tournament .

The Darts at Home: Sportsman Special was held on May 16, 2020. Four athletes from popular English sports took part in the charity event. Donations to the National Health Service were again made during the tournament .
