The district of Palpa ( Nepali पाल्पा जिल्ला ) is one of the 75 districts in Nepal with the administrative seat in Tansen .

The district belongs to the Lumbini administrative zone in southern Nepal. It has an area of ​​1373 km² and had 268,558 inhabitants in the 2001 census, in 2011 there were 261,180. The Palpa district extends south of the lower reaches of the Kali Gandaki .
