The district of Schweinerden, u. a. with a large former post office from the 18th century on the Via Regia , is completely under monument protection . The round , which was originally typical for this area , is particularly well preserved here.

The cycle path “In the footsteps of Krabat” runs through Panschwitz-Kuckau on the way from Nebelschütz to Crostwitz . The revived Ecumenical Pilgrimage Route also leads through the village on the route from Görlitz to Vacha . There is a pilgrims' hostel in the monastery .
