1 On July 31, 1995, the forced relegation of the clubs Sevilla FC and Celta Vigo was decided. Then the ruled Spanish Football Federation , Albacete Balompié and Real Valladolid before the sporting descent to preserve, maintain the club number of La Liga. When the license was finally granted to Sevilla FC and Celta Vigo, the league size was quickly expanded to 22 clubs.
