Pstruží (German Pstruschi , Pstruschy ) is a municipality with 763 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located 2 km southwest of the town of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and belongs to the Okres Frýdek-Místek , Moravian-Silesian region .
The place is located at an altitude of 455 m on the northern slope of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids between the mountains Ondřejník and Lysá hora . It was mentioned for the first time in 1581 in the lords of Hochwald (Hukvaldy).
The factory in Pstruží is where the first enamel crockery was made by the Ondřejnice River in 1834 . An important work of local art is the multi-colored carving of the Madonna of Pstruží, which was an exhibit at the World Exhibition in Brussels .
