Dolní Tošanovice (Polish Toszonowice Dolne , German Nieder Toschonowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers east of Frýdek-Místek and belongs to the Okres Frýdek-Místek .
geography
The scattered settlement Dolní Tošanovice is located on a ridge between the Lučina and Stonávka rivers in the Beskid foothills in Silesia . The Tošanůvka brook has its source in the village. To the north lies the Žermanice dam .
Neighboring towns are Vidíkov and Dolní Domaslavice in the north, Mušalec and Třanovice in the northeast, Horní Tošanovice in the east, Lesní Dvůr in the southeast, Šprochovice and Dobratice in the south, Nošovice in the southwest, Vojkovice and Podlesí in the west and Horní Domaslavice in the northwest.
history
The village was laid out in 1305 under the place name Tessinowitz, and the festival dates from this time. In 1316 it is mentioned under the place name Thusnowitz. The place has had a seal since 1723. Most of the residents lived from agriculture, some worked as ironworkers.
After the abolition of patrimonial , Nieder Toschonowitz formed a community in the Teschen district from 1850. From 1920 the place belonged to the Český Těšín district. From 1939 to 1945 Nieder Toschonowitz belonged to the Teschen district and returned to Czechoslovakia after the war. The owners of the Dolní dvůr and Lesní dvůr estates included the Chlumský family, which also included the surgeon Vítězslav Chlumský (1867–1943). In 1948 the large Chlumský estates were nationalized and assigned to the Český Těšín state estate .
In 1955 the community consisted of 160 houses and had 784 inhabitants. On January 1, 1956, the settlements Závadovice (to Dolní Domaslavice), Šprochovice and Podlesí (to Dobratice) were spun off from the municipality, thereby reducing the population to 300. At the end of the 1950s, a school was built in the village. After the dissolution of the Okres Český Těšín, the place came to the Okres Frýdek-Místek at the beginning of 1961. In 1980 Dolní Tošanovice was incorporated into Hnojník , since 1990 the municipality has existed again.
The state estates were privatized in 1989 and have been operating as TOZOS zemědělský podnik sro since then. 93.7% of the inhabitants of the place belong to the Czech nationality, there are also small minorities of Poles, Slovaks and Germans.

No districts are designated for the municipality of Dolní Tošanovice. Dolní Tošanovice includes the goods outside Dolní dvůr ( Niederhof ) and Lesní dvůr ( Waldhof ).
Attractions
- Dolní Tošanovice Castle, an Empire-style building built for the von Mattencloit family at the end of the 19th century, was built on the site of the fortress. In 1933 it was converted into a pompous villa. The castle is north of the village.
