Nošovice (German Noschowitz , older also Nossowitz , Polish Noszowice ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers southeast of Frýdek-Místek and belongs to the Okres Frýdek-Místek .
geography
Nošovice is located on the right bank of the Morávka in the Beskid foothills. To the west rises the hill Vrchy (433 m). East of the village of runs for enhancing the influx of reservoir Žermanice applied supply channel Morávka-Žermanice , the water from the Morávka in the Lučina passes. In the north is the Nošovice substation, to the northeast is the large area of the Hyundai Nošovice automotive plant.
Neighboring towns are Pazderna and Vojkovice in the north, Bukovice in the east, Nižní Lhoty in the southeast, Skalice in the southwest, Na Kamenci in the west and Dobrá in the northwest.
history
The village Potměšovice was first mentioned in 1573 in the course of the separation of the Friedeck rule, which had previously been pledged to Jan Pukler, from the Duchy of Teschen . The brothers Georg and Matthias von Logau bought the estate and thus also owned the village. In 1664 the name Nošovice was first used in the land register .
The residents lived from agriculture and at the beginning of the 19th century a glass factory began producing canteens. Until the abolition of patrimonial Nošovice belonged to Friedeck.
From 1850 Noschowitz formed a municipality in the Teschen district. From 1908 the place belonged to the Friedeck district. After the Second World War Nošovice was assigned to the Okres Místek and came to the Okres Frýdek-Místek in 1961 after its dissolution . The Radegast brewery was built in 1966 . Between 1980 and 1990 Nošovice was incorporated into Dobrá.
In April 2006, the Hyundai Motor Company began building its “ Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech ” plant near Nošovice , which opened in September 2009. The factory premises are located next to the Nošovice substation directly on the R 48 expressway from Frýdek-Místek to Český Těšín and the Český Těšín – Frýdek-Místek railway line and are connected by a siding. The Hyundai Group has invested 1.1 billion euros in the first European automobile plant; it is to create 1,850 jobs, plus up to 7,000 jobs in the supply industry. The plant is initially planned to produce 200,000 vehicles, including i30s and a Kia minivan, per year.
