The Slovenska Nogometna Liga 2011/12 , also called PrvaLiga Telekom after the sponsor Telekom , was the 21st season of the highest Slovenian league in men's football . It started on July 16, 2011 and ended on May 26, 2012.

Defending champion NK Maribor won his tenth championship and thus remains the sovereign record champion of the country ahead of ND Gorica with four championships.

    Relegation

    The ninth place in the first division and the runner up from the second division took part in the relegation. A return match was played. The relegation winner NK Dob would have been promoted to the first division, while the ND Triglav Kranj would have been relegated. Since the village club from Dob near Domžale was denied promotion for financial reasons, Triglav Kranj was allowed to remain in the Slovenian first class.
