Sri Lankan national cricket team in New Zealand in 2004/05

The tour of the Sri Lankan national cricket team to New Zealand in the 2004/05 season took place from December 26, 2004 to April 14, 2005 with a break. The international cricket tour was part of the 2004/05 international cricket season and included two tests and an ODI . New Zealand won both series 1–0.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a tour in Australia , Sri Lanka in Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2003 season in Sri Lanka .

The following stages were designated as the venue for the tour and the test stadiums were announced on February 2, 2005.
