Berit Mørdre-Lammedal (born April 16, 1940 in Nes , Viken ; † August 23, 2016 ) was a Norwegian cross-country skier who started in the 1960s and 1970s.
Career
Mørdre-Lammedal, who started for Romerikslaget IL , was third in the Svenska Skidspelen in 1965 and second in the relay the following year. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 , she won the silver medal with the relay. In the individual races, she achieved 11th place over 10 km and tenth place over 5 km. At the end of February 1967, she took second place with the relay at the Lahti Ski Games . At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , she won the gold medal together with Babben Enger and Inger Aufleswith the Norwegian 3x5 km relay and the silver medal over 10 km. She was also tenth in the 5 km race. In 1969 she took third place over 10 km and first place with the relay at the Svenska Skidspelen. At the beginning of March 1969, she took second place with the relay at the Lahti Ski Games. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 in Vysoké Tatry she came in 24th place over 10 km, ninth place over 5 km and fourth place with the relay. In 1970 and 1971 she ran at the Svenska Skidspelen with the relay in second place and in 1971 also won the 10 km run. In the same year she was the first Norwegian woman to receive the Holmenkollen Medal due to her success in cross-country skiing . At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , she won the bronze medal with the relay. In the individual races she finished 14th over 10 km and seventh over 5 km. In the same year she was third at the Svenska Skidspelen over 10 km and second with the relay and third at the Lahti Ski Games with the relay. The following year she managed to take third place with the relay at the Svenska Skidspelen. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1974 in Falun she ran on the 11th place over 5 km and each on the sixth place over 10 km and with the relay. In the same year she won second place with the relay at the Lahti Ski Games and won the 5 km Holmenkollen Ski Festival . In 1976 she won the Birkebeinerrennet . At Norwegian championships she won seven times over 10 km (1965, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974), six times over 5 km (1966–1968, 1971, 1973, 1974) and six times with the relay of Romerikslaget IL (1965 -1970).
