action

The 25-minute short film contains numerous scenes borrowed from other films.

The audience of the show is informed that they will now see a kind of film about film history, which will cover everything from silent films to modern times. Shortly before the film is about to begin, a cell phone rings and George, a supposed troublemaker, is about to be caught by a usher. However, he manages to escape and walks back and forth in front of the screen. This caught the attention of the wizard in the film, who conjured George into the film with a spell. There the protagonist stumbles from one film scene to another and meets the attractive Marguerite, who follows him on his way through film history.

George wanders through the silent film era and meets Harold Lloyd , Laurel and Hardy as well as Charlie Chaplin , among others . Then he comes to the time of the gangster film , but can save himself in the color film, where he first ends up in a western scene. There he loses his cell phone and escapes into the scenes of Mary Poppins . Meanwhile, Marguerite arrives at the western set and finds George's cell phone. The two meet on a street. When they want to get into a taxi together, George is pulled underwater and ends up on the Titanic , where he tries to save Jack Dawson, but stumbles from one movie to the next until he finally arrives at the Death Star and there by Marguerite as a stormtrooper disguised, saved.

You also escape this film and end up in the Middle Ages. In the ensuing battle scene, George is hit by Robin Hood , but luckily the cell phone caught the arrow. When the doorbell rings, the knight panics and destroys the cell phone. After that, however, the knight helps back into the real world by catching lightning with his sword and hurling the sword through the canvas. George escapes into the real world, but has to leave Marguerite behind. Now the two are trying to get back together. With the help of the magician, they eventually come together again. Together they travel to the Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz . In 2013, some scenes from the film were replaced.
