The Dodge County is a county in the US -amerikanischen State Wisconsin . In 2010 , the county had 88,759 residents and a population density of 38.8 people per square kilometer. The county seat is Juneau , named after Paul Juneau , the city's founder.

The county is located in southeastern Wisconsin, about 65 km to the east from Lake Michigan , and has an area of 2,349 square kilometers, of which 64 square kilometers are water. In Dodge County, the Rock River , a tributary of the Mississippi , is created by the confluence of its headwaters.

Dodge County was formed in 1836 as the original county from parts of the Wisconsin Territory . It was named after Henry Dodge , a general and early governor of the Wisconsin Territory.
