The Fond du Lac County is a county in the US -amerikanischen State Wisconsin . In 2010 , the county had 101,633 residents and a population density of 54.3 people per square kilometer. The county seat is the city of Fond du Lac .
geography
The county is located in southeastern Wisconsin, at the southern end of Lake Winnebago . It is located in the east about 45 km from Lake Michigan and has an area of 1983 square kilometers, of which 111 square kilometers are water surface. history
The Fond du Lac County was formed on December 7, 1836 as the original county from the Wisconsin Territory. Like the district capital, it was named after the French expression for at the bottom of the lake .
