The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1940/41 was the 17th season of the highest Swedish football league . The season began on August 4, 1940 and ended on June 2, 1941.

Helsingborgs IF was the first Swedish club to win the championship and cup double . IK Sleipner , who was still champion in 1938 , and IK Brage were relegated to Division 2 .
