Stein 700 years of Grimminghausen

The place Grimmardichusen was first mentioned in 1282. Grimminghausen belonged to the municipality of Dorlar until the municipal territorial reform. Since January 1st, 1975 Grimminghausen has been part of the new town of Schmallenberg.

The first chapel in the village was built around 1600. In 1900 the present chapel was built at a higher point in the village.
