Hermann Budde (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Budde belonged to the VfL Benrath , for whom he played as a striker from 1936 to 1939 in the Gauliga Niederrhein , in one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . The 1939/40 season he played - due to relegation - in the second-rate district league . In the cup competition for club teams created in 1935 for the Tschammer Cup , he was used a total of six times in his two appearances and scored seven goals. He made his debut on August 23, 1936 in a 3-2 second-round victory over the defending champions 1. FC Nuremberg ; he scored his first of seven goals with the 1-0 lead in the sixth minute, which together with Ernst Poertgen made him the top scorer of the competition. He played his last cup game on August 20, 1939 in the 1: 4 first-round defeat at Borussia Neunkirchen .
