Sahr Senesie (born June 20, 1985 in Koindu , Sierra Leone ) is a former German - Sierra-Leonean football player . He is the half-brother of the German national player Antonio Rüdiger .
Career
societies
Senesia is of Sierra Leonean origin. The attacker , who can also be used in attacking midfield , joined the youth team at Borussia Dortmund in 2000 . He had previously played for the Berlin clubs Tasmania Neukölln and VfB Neukölln . From the youth of Borussia Dortmund he made it to the pros in 2002. In the 2003/04 UEFA Cup match against FC Sochaux (final score: 2: 2), he scored the connecting goal to make it 1: 2 seven minutes after being substituted on.
In February 2005 Senesie was loaned to the Swiss club Grasshopper Club Zurich , for which he played until summer. He then went to the German regional league for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for a year . From the beginning of the 2006/07 season he played again for Borussia Dortmund, but only had one contract for the second team. Due to personnel shortage on the offensive, he was nevertheless a few times in the professional squad; on October 5th he made his comeback in the Bundesliga against VfL Bochum . After the 2007/08 season, Senesie left Borussia. On November 14th, 2008 he signed a contract with the then western regional league club Eintracht Trier . There he was DFB Cup top scorer in 2009/10 together with Lucas Barrios and Thomas Müller (4 goals each). In 2010 Senesie finally moved to Saarland for FC Homburg . From the 2011/12 season he played in the 3rd division at Wacker Burghausen and in July 2013 moved to the regional division SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , which he secured promotion to the 3rd division thanks to his goal in the relegation second leg. In June 2015, his contract was terminated at Senesie's request.
He took over the management of his half-brother Antonio Rüdiger .

Senesie has the Sierra Leonean and German citizenship ; between 2001 and 2005 he played in various DFB national teams .
