history
The first written mention of Cladorubeh took place between 1131 and 1141 in a document from the Olomouc bishop Heinrich Zdik . The manor belonging to the Kelč district of the Olomouc bishopric was an independent fiefdom. In 1398 the place was called Kladrub , 1508 and 1539 as Kladoruby , 1517 as Kladruby and 1636 as Kladerub . With the property, which was divided into several parts over the course of time, various lower noble families were entrusted. A number of owners used the Kladeruby label . From 1751 the place was called Kladruby . In the years 1790 to 1795, the village blacksmith Jan Czapla gave lessons for the children of the village in rented rooms. The first wooden schoolhouse was built between 1810 and 1820. Until 1849 Kladruby belonged to the Kelč dominion and the Prerau district.
After the abolition of patrimonial Kladruby / Kladrub formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Valašské Meziříčí. In 1869 a stone school building was built. In the 1870s, coal was mined, but it was soon stopped. Since 1872 the place has been called Kladeruby . In 1899 a large fire destroyed five properties in the upper village. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1901. In 1914 a quarry was put into operation. In 1924 a farming cooperative was established for the production of slivovitz . In the same year, with the support of the residents of Komárovice and Němetice, the fire brigade was able to purchase a new fire engine. After the cancellation of the Okres Valašské Meziříčí, Kladeruby was assigned to the Okres Vsetín in 1960. The community carries a coat of arms and a banner; this was derived from the coat of arms of the Archdiocese of Olomouc.
