history

The first written mention of the village Luczka , which belongs to the episcopal district Kelč , was made in 1307 in connection with the feudal man Jan von Luczka. Luczka formed an independent feudal lordship of the Olomouc bishopric , which was added to the neighboring Podolí fiefdom in 1527 under the Knights of Tamfeld . At the transition from the 16th to the 17th century, the knights Tamfeld von Luczka had a renaissance castle and manor house built. Because of their participation in the uprising of the estates, the Tamfeld's property was confiscated after the battle of the White Mountain . In 1718 the place was called Laucžka . In 1778 a school was set up in Loučka. The owners of the estate changed often. Among them was u. a. Leopold von Lamberg , the Laucžka 1803 to Johann Nepomuk Mohrweiser from Constance . Mohrweiser, who was knighted in 1804, led the rule to prosperity. From a well at the foot of the Hradiště he had a wooden water pipe built to the manor. Until 1849 the Laucžka domain belonged to the Prerau district.

After the abolition of patrimonial Laucžka formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Valašské Meziříčí. The Laucžka estate was deleted from the episcopal feudal association in 1871. The current place name Loučka has been used since 1874 . In 1884 a large fire destroyed parts of the village. Until 1900 the estate also had a brewery. At the beginning of the 20th century, J. Matocha founded a small knitwear factory. The district road from Loučka via Podolí to Lázy was completed in 1905. In 1918 Tomáš Baťa bought the property, followed in 1933 by his widow Marie Baťová. After the cancellation of the Okres Valašské Meziříčí, Loučka was assigned to the Okres Vsetín in 1960. In 1980 Podolí and Lázy were incorporated, five years later Kunovice and Police followed. With the exception of Lázy, all districts broke away in 1990 and have since formed their own communities again.

Community structure

The municipality Loučka consists of the districts Lázy ( Laas ) and Loučka ( Lauczka ).

Attractions

  • baroque parish church of Christ the Good Shepherd, built in 1778
  • Cemetery chapel, built in 1826 under Johann Nepomuk Ritter von Mohrweiser as a burial chapel
  • Loučka Castle, it was built in 1720 through the rebuilding of the renaissance castle of the Tamfeld knights into a small baroque castle with a chapel. It was remodeled in 1769 and 1803. In 1999 the castle was transferred to Tomáš John Ba ina in restitution. He had the facility partially removed and the park restored. Instead of the side wing, Baťa had an unsuitable country residence built, the main building is in a very dilapidated condition.
  • Hradiště Castle Stables, only remnants of the moat are evidence of the wooden castle from the 13th and 14th centuries
  • Meandering, tree-lined course of the Loučka brook
