The League Cup 2014/15 (sponsored name Capital One Cup ) was the 55th edition of the tournament . The tournament started with 92 clubs.

The competition started with the first round on August 12, 2014 and ended with the final at Wembley Stadium in London on March 1, 2015.

First round

The draw for the first round took place on June 17, 2014. The Norwich City and Fulham are the only teams from the Football League that went until the second round of the tournament, as they were the top two teams last season. The other 70 teams in the Football League had to compete in the first round.
