The 4-by-400-meter relay team of women at the 2014 European Athletics Championships was on 16 and 17 August 2014 in the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich held.

France was European champion with Marie Gayot ( final ), Muriel Hurtis , Agnès Raharolahy and Floria Gueï ( final ) as well as Estelle Perrossier and Phara Anacharsis, who were also used in the preliminary stages . Second place went to Ukraine with Natalija Pyhyda ( final ), Chrystyna Stuj , Hanna Ryschykowa and Olha Semljak ( final ) as well as Darya Prystupa and Olha Lyachowa, who were also used in the preliminary run. Bronze went to Great Britain with Eilidh Child ( final ), Kelly Massey , Shana Cox ( final ) and Margaret Adeoye as well as Emily Diamond and Victoria Ohuruogu, who were also used in the preliminary run .

The runners who were only used in the preliminary run also received the corresponding precious metal.

doping

The Turkish relay, which was last in the first run, was affected by a doping case. Meliz Redif , who was disqualified at the last European championships, was a member of this team. The athlete was banned for three years due to abnormalities in her biological passport - March 31, 2015 to March 30, 2018. The results of the Turkish relay at these European championships also belonged to the canceled results.
