The Route nationale 419 , or N 419 or RN 419 for short , was a French national road .

history

The road led from Sarreguemines to the banks of the Rhine . There was currently no ferry connection across the border to Germany at this point. During the reform of 1972, the section between Haguenau and Rountzenheim was added to the new routing of National Road 63 . The Domfessel- Rountzenheim section was part of Reichsstraße 353 during the occupation by German troops during the Second World War . The road between Hangenau and the D 1063 is still signposted as the N 63.
