  • The Raccordo autostradale 4 ( Italian for 'motorway feeder 4') is a motorway feeder in southern Italy . It is the immediate continuation of the Italian A2dirRC motorway , junction of the Autostrada del Mediterraneo . It runs through the urban area of the port city of Reggio Calabria , where it forms part of the tangent of Reggio Calabria , and is 5.512 km long. The RA 4 becomes the state road 106 , which leads to Taranto . It lies entirely in the Italian region of Calabria .

The Decreto Legislativo 29 ottobre 1999, n.461 did not include the RA4 in the Italian motorway network, but classified it as a road of national interest . In 2001 it was given the designation RA 4 on the basis of the Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri del 21 September 2001 . However, the designation RA4 does not appear on the information boards along the route. The motorway feeder is managed by ANAS .

The route is part of the European route 90 .

So far, the RA 4, like all routes managed by ANAS, has been toll-free.
