The Autostrada A21dir ( Italian for 'Autobahn A21dir'), also called Diramazione per Fiorenzuola , is an Italian motorway in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna . It connects the two motorways A21 and A1 and is 12.3 km long. It is subject to tolls along its entire length .
course
The A21dir (for diramzione , Italian 'junction') connects the two motorways A21 and A1. This shortens the travel time between the cities of Parma and Bologna with Cremona and Brescia .
At Caorso the A21dir branches off to the south and passes through Fiorenzuola d'Arda, the Po Valley near the Po and the Arda near Cortemaggiore. After only 12.3 km it reaches its end point at Fiorenzuola d'Arda , where it joins the A1.
Administration and history
The A21dir is managed by the Italian motorway company Centropadane SpA.
It was built at the same time as the section of the A21 between Piacenza, Cremona and Brescia in 1972.
