Map with all coordinates: The Autostrada A53 ( Italian for 'Autobahn A53') (or also numbered as RA 7), also called Raccordo Autostradale di Pavia (motorway feeder from Pavia) , represents the connection between Pavias and the A7 Milan - Genoa and is 9 km long. It is managed and operated by the Italian Milano Serravalle - Milano Tangenziali SpA and is not subject to tolls throughout its entire course . It has two lanes for each direction, but there are no hard shoulders. It was opened on September 10, 1960.
In the decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of September 21, 2001 (Official Gazette No. 226 of September 28, 2001) the A53 was numbered RA07.
A number of measures are planned for the period 2012–2014 [obsolete] to modernize the motorway with a planned investment volume of 20.8 million.
