Map with all coordinates: The Raccordo autostradale 12 ( Italian for 'motorway feeder 12'), also called Asse attrezzato , is a motorway feeder in the center of Italy that connects the port of Pescara on the Adriatic Sea with the airport and the city's industrial centers as well as the A25 and A14 . It also connects the two cities of Chieti and Pescara. It is located in the Italian region of Abruzzo .
The Decreto Legislativo 29 ottobre 1999, n.461 did not include the RA12 in the Italian motorway network, but classified it as a road of national interest . In 2001 he received the designation RA 12 due to the Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri del 21 September 2001 . However, the designation RA12 does not appear on the information boards along the route. The 14,800 km long motorway slip road is managed by ANAS .
So far, the RA 12, like all routes managed by ANAS, has been toll-free.
