  • The Autostrada A21racc ( Italian for 'Autobahn A21racc'), also called Raccordo autostradale Ospitaletto-Montichiari , is a motorway feeder in the Italian region of Lombardy . The Raccordo is part of the new transport project in Lombardy, which also includes the BreBeMi , which connects Milan directly with Brescia , and the TEM , the new eastern bypass of Milan.

    The project

The Lombardy region built a four-lane road in the 1970s that begins in the north of the city of Brescia and runs in a wide arc over the cities of Gussago and Ospitaletto to the village of Fenili Belasi. This road is now classified as Strada Provincia 19 (Provincial Road).

The new motorway feeder will be built exactly on the route of the SP 19, which is being expanded in this context. The missing piece to the A21 motorway has been rebuilt.

The new Raccordo is - like the other motorway access roads in Italy - toll-free. The entire route consists of two lanes with hard shoulder .

Construction began in January 2009. The Raccordo was built by the Italian motorway company Centropadane SpA.
