Map with all coordinates: The Autostrada A3 ( Italian for "A3 motorway") is an Italian motorway in Campania , which leads from Naples to Salerno . It is part of Europastraße 45 , approx. 55 km long and subject to a toll . Originally the entire Naples - Reggio Calabria motorway was designated A3, but the section from Salerno to Reggio Calabria was renamed A2 on December 22, 2016 . It is managed by the Italian motorway company Autostrade Meridionali SpA

The A3 can be divided as follows:
- Naples - Pompei (released June 22, 1929)
- Pompeii - Salerno (released July 16, 1961)
The A3 motorway connects to the A1 ( Autostrada del Sole , Milan - Naples). It ends north of Salerno at the motorway triangle with the A2.
