  • The Raccordo autostradale 11 ( Italian for 'motorway feeder 11'), also called Superstrada Ascoli-Mare , is a motorway feeder in the center of Italy , which connects the provincial capital Ascoli Piceno with the Italian motorway network and the A14 . It also represents the connection to the Adriatic Sea and the coastal town of San Benedetto del Tronto . It is managed by ANAS .

It is located in the Italian region of Marche .

The Decreto Legislativo 29 ottobre 1999, n.461 did not include the RA 3 in the motorway network of Italy, but classified it as a road of national interest , SS4 RA Ascoli-Porto d'Ascoli . In 2004 another decree ( Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri del 23 November 2004 ) classified the motorway slip road as RA11 .

    course

The RA11 has a total length of 26,300 km. It runs in the valley of the Tronto River through the hilly landscape of the Marche. The main towns along the route are Folignano, Maltignano, Spinetoli and Monsampolo di Tronto.

It runs almost entirely in the Marche region , apart from a few kilometers that lie in the Abruzzo region .

So far, the RA11, like all routes managed by ANAS, has been toll-free.
