In the singles Amélie Mauresmo won against Patty Schnyder with 2: 6, 6: 3 and 6: 4. In doubles, the pairing Cara Black / Liezel Huber won 6: 0, 4: 6 and 6: 1 against Marija Kirilenko / Anabel Medina Garrigues .
