1000 km race on the Nürburgring in 1982
The 28th 1000 km race on the Nürburgring , also XXVIII. ADAC 1000km race brands world championship, Nürburgring Nordschleife Whitsun , took place on May 30, 1982 on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring and was the third round of the sports car world championship of that year.
The race
For the third time in the season, the various sports car teams competed in a race in the Sports Car World Championship in May 1982. The first race of the year, the Monza 1000 km race , ended with the overall victory of Henri Pescarolo and Giorgio Francia on a Rondeau M382 . Michele Alboreto and Riccardo Patrese won the 6-hour race at Silverstone for Lancia . The two of them also won on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring , supported by compatriot Teo Fabi . The start of Jürgen Lässig , who drove two different vehicles in the BMW M1 and a Porsche 935 , was unusual .
