Auf dem Mühlenfeld is a place to live in the community of Schalksmühle in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The agriculturally used property is located west of the Schalksmühler core town above the Glörtalsperre on the connecting road from Rotthausen to Reeswinkel .

Other neighboring towns in the Schalksmühler municipality are in addition to the core town Buchholz , Ober- , Mittel- and Niederreeswinkel , Mollsiepen , Mathagen and Asenbach .

history

On October 1, 1912, the still undeveloped area around the place was spun off from the municipality of Halver and assigned to the newly founded municipality of Schalksmühle. On the Mühlenfeld itself, a farm was not built until the second half of the 20th century.
