Albringwerde is a district of the community of Schalksmühle in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The hamlet is located directly on the federal highway 45 on the ridge between the valleys of the Sterbecke and the Nahmerbach . A local road connects the place with angles and Rölvede .

Other neighboring towns in the municipality are Winklerheide , Rölveder Mühle , Wersbecke , Mesekendahl , Reineberge , Sterbecke , Rehweg , Rosenhagen and Altenhülscheid .

history

Albringwerde belonged to the farming community of Winkeln in the parish of Hülscheid until the 19th century . From 1816 the place was part of the municipality of Hülscheid in the mayor's office Halver in the Altena district , in 1818 64 people lived in the place. The place, categorized as a courtyard according to the location and distance table of the government district of Arnsberg , had nine residential buildings and eleven agricultural buildings in 1839. At that time 54 people lived in the place, all of them evangelical denominations.

In 1844 the municipality of Hülscheid with Albringwerde was split off from the Halver office and assigned to the newly established Lüdenscheid office .

The place is recorded on the Prussian first recording from 1845 under the name Albringwerde . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, the place is recorded on the TK25 measuring table as Albringwerde .

The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the province of Westphalia leads Albring career in 1871 as a village of nine houses and 53 residents. The municipality encyclopedia for the province of Westphalia from 1887 gives a number of 51 inhabitants who lived in eight houses. In 1895 the place had nine houses with 62 inhabitants, in 1905 seven houses and 50 inhabitants are given.

In 1969, the municipalities of Hülscheid and Schalksmühle were merged to form an unofficial large municipality ( unitary municipality ) of Schalksmühle in the Altena district and since then Albringwerde has been politically part of Schalksmühle, which in 1975 became part of the newly created Märkische Kreis due to the Sauerland / Paderborn law .
