Linscheiderschule is a residential area in the municipality of Schalksmühle in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ). The living space originally consisted of a school building.

Location and description

The residential area, which was independent until the end of the 20th century, is located on the north-western edge of the hamlet of Linscheid above the Volmetal and has meanwhile been incorporated into its residential development.

history

The school opened in 1837 and was initially part of the community Hülscheid in office Lüdenscheid in county Altena . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, the location is recorded on the TK25 measuring table as a school . From the 1987 edition it is unlabeled. In 1905 one house and four residents are given.

In 1969, the communities of Hülscheid and Schalksmühle were merged to form the large community ( unified community ) of Schalksmühle in the Altena district, and Hellhof has since been politically part of Schalksmühle, which in 1975 became part of the newly created Märkisches Kreis due to the Sauerland / Paderborn law .
