Kaempershof is a district of the community of Schalksmühle in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The district is located on a Riedel between Hägerbachtal and the Wilfeschetal west of Muhle in the northern municipality area directly on the city limits of Hagen . The place can be reached via a driveway from Holthausen .

history

Waldesruh emerged in the second half of the 19th century and was initially part of the community Hülscheid in office Lüdenscheid in county Altena . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, the location is not labeled on the TK25 measuring table .

In 1969, the municipalities of Hülscheid and Schalksmühle were merged to form an unofficial municipality ( unitary municipality ) of Schalksmühle in the Altena district and Waldesruh has since been politically part of Schalksmühle, which in 1975 became part of the newly created Märkisches Kreis due to the Sauerland / Paderborn law .
