    The Autostrada A11 / A12 , also called Diramazione Lucca-Viareggio ( Italian for the Lucca-Viareggio junction ), is a motorway junction that is also referred to as the D11 .

    description

    The motorway junction leads from Lucca , where it branches off the A11 , to Viareggio , where it joins the A12 . It enables the travel time between Florence and Genoa to be shortened .

    The motorway junction is 18.2 km long and requires tolls throughout, and it also has three junctions (Lucca West (Italian: Lucca Ovest), Massarosa and Viareggio / Camaiore).

    It is managed by SALT SpA ( Società Autostrada Ligure Toscana SpA ). It was built in 1970. The Decreto Legislativo of October 29, 1999 n. 461 classified this motorway branch as A11 / A12.
