Chassignolles ( Occitan : Chassinhòla ) is a French commune with a population of 62 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It is located in the Arrondissement of Brioude and in the Canton of Sainte-Florine (until 2015: Canton of Auzon ). The inhabitants are called Chassignollais .

geography

Chassignolles is the northernmost commune in the Haute-Loire department. It is located about 52 kilometers south-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand . Chassignolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-d'Ollières in the north, Fayet-Ronaye in the east and northeast, Saint-Vert in the east, Champagnac-le-Vieux in the south and Saint-Hilaire in the west and southwest.
