Novemail-Histor-Laser Computer is a former French cycling team that existed from 1993 to 1994.

history

After the Panasonic team was discontinued, Peter Post founded the new team with some of his previous drivers. He was team manager from 1993 to 1994.

During the 1994 Tour de France , a collision between Wilfried Nelissen and a policeman triggered a terrible fall. In the sprint to the finish, Nelissen crashed into a route policeman about 100 m from the finish at almost 70 km / h, who probably wanted to take a souvenir photo.

In August 1994 the team sponsor announced his withdrawal, despite the announcement at the beginning of the season that sponsorship for 1995 was secured. Marcel Wüst achieved the team's last victory at the Herald Sun Tour where he also came third in the overall classification. Since no other sponsor could be found, the drivers were released and the team dissolved at the end of 1994.

doping

There were two incidents in the team. On the one hand, Wilfried Nelissen was tested positive for amphetamines at the Scheldeprijs in 1993 and Eddy Bouwmans confessed in an interview in 2013 that he was taking EPO with the support of a doctor.
