Olesja Alexandrowna Forschewa , Russian Олеся Александровна Форшева , engl. Transcription Olesya Forsheva , b. Красномовец - Krasnomowez - Krasnomovets , (born July 8, 1979 in Nizhny Tagil ) is a Russian sprinter whose special route is the 400-meter run .

In 2004 she won silver at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest and bronze at the Olympic Games in Athens with the Russian 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 2005 she won relay gold at the World Championships in Helsinki , and in 2006 she won silver at the European Indoor Championships and gold at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow .

Olesja Forschewa is 1.72 m tall and has a competition weight of 59 kg. She has been married to the Russian 400-meter runner Dmitri Forschew since autumn 2005 .
