The Scottish Football League Division Two was played for the eleventh time in 1903/04 . After the introduction of Division One , it was also the eleventh edition of the men's second-highest football division in the Scottish Football League under the name Division Two .
In the 1903/04 season, 12 clubs competed against each other in a total of 22 matchdays. Each team played once at home and away against every other team. The 2-point rule applied . In the event of a tie, the clubs (with the same number of points) were placed tied. The championship was won by Hamilton Academical . There was no newcomer this season. The FC Ayr Parkhouse , who retired his team at the end of the season was the FC Aberdeen replaced.
