In the second-highest division of men’s football in Scotland , 10 clubs competed against each other in a total of 36 matchdays in the 2004/05 season. The championship was won by FC Falkirk , which at the same time secured participation in the 2005/06 Premier League season . Partick Thistle and the Raith Rovers had to relegate to the Second Division . The top scorer with 17 goals was Darryl Duffy from FC Falkirk.
