The Scottish Football League Division Two was played for the 33rd time in 1931/32 . After the introduction of Division One , it was also the 33rd edition of the men's second-highest football division in the Scottish Football League under the name Division Two . In the 1931/32 season, 20 clubs competed against each other in a total of 38 matchdays. Each team played once at home and away against every other team. The 2-point rule applied . In the event of a tie, the goal quotient counted . The championship was won by FC East Stirlingshire , together with the second-placed St Johnstone FC in the Division One promotion . For the withdrawn in the previous season FC Clydebank came Edinburgh City new to Division Two. At the end of the current season, FC Bo'ness and FC Armadale were excluded from the league.
