Sri Lankan national cricket team in India for the 2019/20 season

The Sri Lankan national cricket team tour to India in the 2019/20 season took place from January 5th to 10th, 2020. The international cricket tour was part of the 2019/20 international cricket season and included three Twenty20s . India won the Twenty20 series 2-0.

prehistory

India previously played a tour against the West Indies , Sri Lanka in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 2017/18 season . Originally a series between Zimbabwe and India was supposed to take place at this time. When Zimbabwe was suspended by the ICC , it was replaced by Sri Lanka, but the dates and stadiums were retained.
