Sri Lankan national cricket team in New Zealand in the 2015/16 season
The 2015/16 season series of matches for the Sri Lankan national cricket team in New Zealand took place from December 10, 2015 to January 10, 2016. The international cricket tour was part of the 2015/16 international cricket season and included two test matches , five ODIs and two Twenty20s . New Zealand won the test series 2-0, the ODI series 3-1 and the Twenty20 series 2-0.

classification
Sri Lanka previously played a home tour against the West Indies , which they clearly dominated. New Zealand previously competed in a test series in Australia that was lost. The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in New Zealand the year before, in which New Zealand won both the Test and the ODI series.
Kusal Perera
The Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Perera tested positive for an illicit substance shortly before the tour and was then withdrawn from the tour.
