Vicente Trueba Perez (born October 16, 1905 in Sierrapando de Torrelavega , † November 10, 1986 ) was a Spanish road racing professional . Trueba was the first winner of the mountains classification of the Tour de France in 1933 . Trueba was a professional cyclist from 1928 to 1933, but was not a member of a professional team for many seasons. He started as an individualist in 1928, 1930 to 1932 and 1937 to 1939. In addition to winning the mountain classification at the Tour de France, he also achieved his best result there in 1933 with sixth place in the overall classification. A year later, he reached tenth place in the overall ranking and second in the mountain class. During his professional time he could only win one more race with the GP Pascuas . His brothers José , Manuel and Fermín were also racing drivers.
