Charles J. "Chuck" Fleischmann (born October 11, 1962 in Ooltewah , Hamilton County , Tennessee ) is an American politician . Since 2011 he has represented the state of Tennessee in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Chuck Fleischmann studied political science at the University of Illinois until 1983 . After a subsequent law degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his admission to the bar in 1986, he began to work in his new profession.

Politically, Fleischmann joined the Republican Party . In the congressional elections of 2010 he was in the third constituency of Tennessee with 57 percent of the vote against Democrat John Wolfe in the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC chosen, where he succeeded the no longer candidates 3 January 2011 Zach Wamp took . As he was re-elected in all subsequent elections, including the one in 2016, he can continue to exercise his mandate today. Its latest legislative term runs until January 3, 2019.

Fleischmann has three sons with his wife Brenda. The family lives privately in Ooltewah.
