Clermont-Dessous is a French municipality with 876 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Agen and the canton of Le Confluent ( Port-Sainte-Marie until 2015 ).
geography
Clermont-Dessous is about nineteen kilometers west-northwest of Agen on the Garonne , which borders the municipality in the south. Clermont-Dessous is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazens in the north and north-west, Frégimont in the north, Lusignan-Petit in the north-east, Saint-Hilaire-de-Lusignan in the east, Montesquieu in the south and Saint-Laurent in the west.
