Madaillan ( Occitan : Madalhan ) is a French municipality with 651 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Madaillan is located in the Agen arrondissement and belongs to the canton of Le Confluent (until 2015: canton of Prayssas ). The inhabitants are called Madaillanais .

Madaillan is about ten kilometers north-northwest of Agen . Madaillan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laugnac in the north and north-east, Foulayronnes in the east and south-east, Colayrac-Saint-Cirq in the south, Saint-Hilaire-de-Lusignan in the south and south-west, Lusignan-Petit in the west and Prayssas in the west and north-west.
