Saint-Jean-de-Thurac ( Occitan : Sent Joan de Turac ) is a French municipality with 560 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Saint-Jean-de-Thurac is located in the Arrondissement of Agen and belongs to the canton of Le Sud-Est Agenais (until 2015: Canton of Puymirol ).

Saint-Jean-de-Thurac is located about eleven kilometers east-southeast of Agen on the Canal latéral à la Garonne . The Garonne itself limits the municipality to the south. Saint-Jean-de-Thurac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-de-Clairac in the north, Saint-Romain-le-Noble in the east, Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Balerme in the southeast, Caudecoste in the south, Sauveterre- Saint-Denis in the southwest and Lafox in the west.
